Our commitment

Innishvilla AFC is committed to providing a safe, respectful and age-appropriate environment for children, young people and adults involved in the club.

All Innishvilla AFC coaches are Garda vetted and have completed the relevant FAI Safeguarding courses. Coaches and volunteers must also follow the club’s safeguarding procedures, codes of conduct and approved communication practices.

Raising a concern

Contact details required: Add the approved Club Children’s Officer and Designated Liaison Person contact routes before promoting this page as the formal reporting channel.

Where there is an immediate risk of harm, contact the emergency services. Safeguarding decisions and investigations must remain with the appropriate human officers and statutory services.

Safe communication

  • Adults should not seek secrecy with children or young people.
  • Private off-platform contact between adults and minors is not permitted.
  • Parents or guardians should be included in communications involving under-18s.
  • Personal information, photographs and contact details must be handled carefully.
